If you do choose to contact me, do not send HTML for any reason, I find it disgustingly ugly (since I configure my mail client to never render it) and typically delete it on sight, after making a mental note regarding the intelligence level of the sender. Please also make sure that you actually have something to say before writing. Messages such as “Me too” or “cool blog” or similar garbage will be considered spam and deleted on sight. In such instances I generally make an even harsher mental note regarding the sender. Messages such as “Noticed a broken link on page such and such,” when accurate, are highly appreciated.

IRC: Where I waste way more time than I should

The nick I use on all of them is: joe262.
Same rules apply as for email. I do not generally block PM’s unless someone is being an ass.
If I do not reply, it means I am idle and you should wait. If you are someone who already has earned my dislike, then don’t even bother attempting to PM.
Under no circumstances should you attempt to ‘cyber’ with me or engage in other such pointless misuse of IRC. Chat is for chat. Sex is for real life. If you cannot differentiate between the two, then perhaps your phonebook might have a list of doctors who can help you get better. Then again maybe even psychiatry cannot fix you. Either way, NO CYBERING!
Violators of my no-cybering policy will be dealt with in a less than friendly manner. On servfail irc, where I happen to be an IRCop, I will personally set the AKILL myself. On other networks, I will generally embarrass and/or humiliate you in a variety of ways, including the option to ‘accidentally’ paste my reply to your sick perverted garbage into a channel you happen to be using.
